Rodents are considered as pest worldwide due to their capacity to be harmful to human’s health by spreading life-threatening diseases.

Considered as the most common types of rodents in UK the Brown Rat prefers ground living and burrowing. Sometimes these rodents can smartly use their feet which makes them able to climb. Аs regards to Black Rats they are rare in the UK. Their appearance is usually confined mainly to ports.

Rodents can be very persistent even gnawing through metal to get in, and if they do gain access into your premises they can spread diseases, cause damage and contaminate food. Rodents can cause other problems, so it’s vital to eliminate a rodent infestation quickly as rodents can:

• Damage property with constant gnawing, rats can damage insulation, pipes, doors, floorboards and will also shred soft materials for nesting
• Contaminate foodstuffs as pathogens in rat’s urine and droppings can transmit diseases such as Weil’s disease (Leptospirosis), Rat-bite fever and Salmonellosis.

Rats are particularly active at night which makes them hardly noticeable. During the day they are looking for food, shelter, water and that is the time when they leave indications they inhabit your premises.
